For Tina Kaufman, the ADG conference added up to a lot of very individual approaches, lashed together with industrial issues, underpinned by law. George Brandis revealed that his approach to changes in IP law is to defend the rights of owners, so the radicals will be disappointed.
The conference was titled Directing in the Digital Age, but there wasn’t very much specifically digitally-related content at this year’s ADG Conference, held at Sydney’s Pier One, beside the gorgeous, glittering harbour on two lovely days.
