Box Office 16 May 2016: Sundays are still entertaining

Australian films shunt slowly round the burnt out hulks of showier films in the trainyard of despair. Little choofs of steam in the general crap.

This is horrible, you know. Captain America is hot for the world.  

You read it here first! A Month of Sundays is hanging in, having gained a cinema to 42, dropped 19% in the total take, and reached $533,364. The per screen average is $2,102, normally a graveyard figure. Survival may be about sentiment, or the fact that this might play well in regional cinemas, or simply the raw fact that the current crop of flicks is pretty dire.
