BRIEF: Blight and du Fresne nominated for WIN Award

Rosemary Blight and Kylie du Fresne have been nominated for a WIN Award in the US for their work on The Sapphires. Run by the non-profit Women’s Image Network to promote positive female images in film, television, videogames and advertising, the Australian pair will be competing against Laura Ziskin and Pamela Oas Williams for The Butler, Catherine Winder for Escape from Planet Earth, Brit Marling for The East and Tracey Seaward and Gabrielle Tana for Philomena. The awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on December 11.
