Meanwhile, Tony Veitch, a news presenter very closely attached to the brand of a government channel which depends on advertising revenue, has been outed for bashing his then wife so badly she had four broken vertebrae and suffered a breakdown. In marrying again, he did a deal that silenced her – which didn’t stop the story though she has kept her silence and her dignity.
