Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls collection of the People’s Choice (Documentary) Award was the bright spot amongst an otherwise disappointing reception, at least among the critics, for NZ films at Toronto. Untouchable Girls beat off Michael Moore’s latest, Capitalism, A Love Story, for its win.

Aussie Sean Byrne’s The Loved Ones won the other inaugural People’s Choice (Midnight Madness) honour.
