Sir Howard Morrison, veteran entertainer, has died, aged 74. He had suffered ill-health for some time and died earlier today in Rotorua after becoming ill while in Rarotonga last week.
Sir Howard had been an entertainer since before the days of television, but made regular appearances on NZ screens. The Howard Morrison Quartet, formed in 1956 was one of New Zealand’s first pop groups, best known for My Old Man’s an All Black.
