VEND brainwashes international festival jury

The fantasy short film VEND, by Sydney filmmaking team Natasha Gray and James Findlay has found favour with a US audience.

After taking out the top prize for Best Short Film at the 23rd Annual St Kilda Film Festival, VEND has impressed international audiences at the Brainwash Movie Festival.

Described by the festival director and judge, Dave Krzysik as “exquisite”, VEND received the 3rd prize in the competition. In its 12th year, the Brainwash Movie festival is the original Drive-In/Bike-In/Walk-In movie festival, screening al-fresco style in Oakland, California.
