SPAA welcomes the announcement by Queensland’s Pacific Film and Television Commission (PFTC) CEO Robin James of an independent review into the PFTC’s strategic direction.

SPAA Executive Director Geoff Brown said, “Queensland is the third most populous state in Australia and its local film makers have the capacity to make an enormous contribution to the stories and programs we make in this country. The Queensland Government has already shown its faith in the future by supporting the annual SPAA Conference and the IF Awards on the Gold Coast.”
