Sony assists WA Screen Academy

Sony flies a large-venue HD projector to WA for Screen Academy screening

Sony Australia is flying a large venue High Definition projector to WA for the Screen Academy’s gala screening of six short films made with the graduating WAAPA acting class. The films were shot on the Sony XDCAM EX (PMW-EX1) cameras and this will be the first opportunity to see them projected in HD on the big screen at Luna Cinema, Leederville on October 4th.

Director of the WA Screen Academy, John Rapsey, says, “We are delighted and grateful to Sony for making it possible for the students and public to see the films at the full resolution and brightness they were filmed in.
