Madman Cinema is delighted to announce that Mark Hartley’s debut feature, Not Quite Hollywood has been selected as the opening night film of the Melbourne International Film Festival. This will be the World Premiere screening of the highly anticipated feature which opens nationally on August 28.

Not Quite Hollywood is the wild, wonderful, untold story of “Ozploitation” films. It irreverently documents an era when Australian cinema got its gear off and showed the world a full-frontal explosion of sex, violence, horror and foot-to-the-floor, full bore action!
