Founded in 1969 under the auspices of ATOM (Australian Teachers of Media), Metro is Australia’s oldest continuously published film and media magazine. This year, it turns 40.

The St Kilda-based quarterly will mark the event by hosting (courtesy of Icon Film Distribution) the first Australian screening of Oscar-winning animator Adam Elliot’s feature Mary and Max on 31 March at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne.
