The feathers will fly when the full list of 34 films is culled to the finalists. There are an awful lot of excellent actors with names like Radha Mitchell, Sam Neill, Hugo Weaving, Wayne Blair, Holliday Grainger and Alia Shawkat, Dev Patel, Hilary Swank, Mia Wasikowska, Ben Mendelsohn, Joel Edgerton, Damon Herriman, Teresa Palmer, and Richard E. Grant.
