The Broadcasting Standards Authority found against both major broadcasters in complaints about inappropriate material. TVNZ lost for an episode of Hung, TVWorks for Home and Away.
TVNZ’s episode of Hung screened at 9.50pm with the part of the show that was the subject of the complaint on screen at 10.10pm. The broadcaster was found, by a majority decision, to have breached Standard 1 of the Free-to-Air Television Code of Broadcasting Practice (Good Taste and Decency).
