Beneath the joy and excitement of writing, creating scripts is a form of commerce, in which the deals and their documents need to produce incomes and a climate of mutual respect. How could the Australian Writers’ Guild not run a session on the nitty-gritty of doing business?

The session on the industrial side of the trade was attended by about eleven people. Clearly, no-one else in our industry needs to earn any money.
