International distributor Screentime Partners has been bought by the UK’s Shed Production for 2 million pounds ($AU 5,023,365.49). Screentime Partners was formed in 2003 as a partnership between Australian production house Screentime and the senior management team, including Chris Bonney, David Asher, Tom McClelland, Belinda Rolands, Jess Khanom and Leonora Teale.
Headquartered in London, Screentime Partners distributes formats and finished programming. Its key clients include 12 Yard, Tokyo Broadcasting System / Bellon and Cee.tv. Titles include Renegade Films’ Rockwiz, Soccastars and Your Wedding In Their Hands.
In March, Screentime Partners Screentime Partners clinched the first deal for the RocKwiz music quiz show format to Spanish producer.
Chris Bonney, Screentime CEO, said at the time that, “The deal with MSL confirms our views of RocKwiz as a “must have” format which will be snapped up at this years MIPTV.
With luck, new management will feel the same way.
