Sitting alongside the more artistically-driven satisfactions of the Asian Film Awards and HKIFF programme, the far more commercially-focused Filmart does deals. This year the offer includes a marked increase in the amount of genre and adult material.
The genre titles on offer fall mainly into three low-budget camps: Asian horror/thriller, western horror/thriller and universal spoof/ripoff.
