The Un Certain Regard prize was awarded to The Missing Picture, a 90 minute autobiographical documentary about Pol Pot directed by Rithy Panh, written by Christophe Bataille and produced by Catherine Dussart. It uses clay figures to recreate the historical moments and memories of the horrors under the Khmer Rouge, as revealed in in the trailer.
