Sydney – February 25, 2011: At 5:30pm AEDT on February 28, 2011 NITV will launch Australia‟s first half hour Indigenous news service.
The new half hour service will be broadcast live on week nights from SKY News Studios in Sydney, replacing the previous 15 minute pre-recorded news segment. It will be hard-edged news looking at the important key issues facing the Indigenous community.
