Christopher Elves, the Composer of the score for the Australian children’s animation series “Animalia” has been nominated for an Daytime Entertainment EMMY? Award for OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN MUSIC DIRECTION AND COMPOSITION.

The 40 half hour CG animation series was based on the internationally best-selling illustrated alphabet book by Melbourne artist and author Graeme Base. It was produced in Australia by Burberry Productions, DoubleBase and Lux Monkey in association with PorchLight Entertainment in Los Angeles. The show is screening in many countries around the world including the BBC in the UK, PBS in America, CBC in Canada, Al Jazeera Kids and France 5. Last week it sold to a number of new territories including Columbia, Ecuador, Argentina and state television in Russia.
