Australian Writers’ Guild President Simon Hopkinson announced today that Executive Director Megan Elliott will be leaving the Guild to take up an international position.

“Megan has been a dynamic, energetic and visionary Executive Director who has successfully realised many goals of the Australian Writers’ Guild and built the membership by more than 30 per cent. Her leadership, political representation, advocacy and passion has benefited Australian writers and the broader media industries. We thank her for her unstinting contribution and wish her every success.” said President Simon Hopkinson.
