Further to the recent sold out screening for Australian Perspectives at ACMI in Melbourne, the mainly self-funded documentary, A Nun’s New Habit has been selected for screening at the International Film Festival, Religion Today in Italy, October 14th-24th, 2009.

A Nun’s New Habit has been nominated in two categories, including Best Documentary and Inter-Religious Dialogue. Writer/Director Robyn Hughan is invited and has received a Film Victoria grant to partake in the festival and the Living Workshop 2009 in Rome, which includes an academic study seminar on religious cinema at the Universita Pontifica Salesiana, a tour of the Vatican and the film’s screening in Trento on October 23rd.
