Appearing at the Creative Country: the business of innovation conference hosted by The Australian, ABC Managing Director Michelle Guthrie made her first definitive, weapons grade public speech. 

She is not by nature pugnacious and her touch is deceptively light. She seems to say what she needs to say, and then stop.
