Government enquiry puts independent production companies in the hot seat

The Liberal Party has just organised a House of Representatives enquiry into the growth and sustainability of the Australian film and television industry.

On Wednesday the Parliamentary website carried the bare news that the House of Representatives is holding an enquiry into the Factors contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Australian film and television industry. On Thursday morning, the government put out a release quoting the chair, Luke Howarth, as saying,
