Film (2026). A bold and original interpretation of one of the greatest love stories of all time, Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights stars Australians Margot Robbie as Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, whose forbidden passion for one another turns from romantic to intoxicating in an epic tale of lust, love and madness.

Make That Movie – date TBC

Series. This new six-part comedy starring Australian comedians Sam Campbell and Aaron Chen follows a hotshot director who scours the country for everyday film ideas, then races to turn each one into a movie in just three days. The crew features Lara Ricote, Helen Bauer and David Hargreaves alongside Chen.

Heathers: The Musical – 3 May

Film (2022). This dark-comedy rock musical based on the 1988 cult-classic movie follows high school senior Veronica’s struggle to survive the teenage rollercoaster of her senior year while navigating the beautiful but cruel Heathers, a dangerous romance with the new school rebel Jason ‘JD’ Dean and the constant pressure to fit in with everyone else.

Film (2024). Some 25 years after environmental collapse leaves Earth uninhabitable, Mother, Father and Son live in a luxurious bunker, clinging to strict daily rituals to maintain a sense of normalcy – until the arrival of a stranger, Girl, disrupts their fragile existence.

As tensions rise, their carefully controlled world begins to unravel. Starring Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Moses Ingram and Michael Shannon.

Song of the Samurai – 9 May

Series. Set in Kyoto at the end of the Edo period, Song of the Samurai explores the intense and passionate lives of the Shinsengumi – the iconic samurai force that defended Kyoto in the final years of Japan’s shogunate – through spectacular action and a bold interpretation based on historical facts.

Street brawler Toshizo Hijikata finds a new kind of family in Isami Kondo and Soji Okita. Hijikata and his comrades in the Shinsengumi forge a bond of loyalty – tested by betrayal, illness and war – as they fight not only their enemies but their own ideals.

The A List: 15 Stories from Asian and Pacific Diasporas – 14 May

Film (2025). This documentary is a tapestry of personal vignettes from across the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities in America. The film captures lived experiences from high-profile celebrities like Sandra Oh to unsung heroes like Madelyn Yu, a critical care nurse who immigrated from the Philippines.

These intimate first-person accounts invite viewers to question umbrella terms like ‘Asian American’ and ‘AAPI’, and instead draw focus to the individuals and the communities themselves.

On the Roam Season 2 – 14 May

Series. On the Roam is a six-part cinematic docuseries following Jason Momoa as he travels the country chasing art, adventure and friendship through the lens of craftsmanship. 

The Yoghurt Shop Murders – 23 May

Series. Episode five, The End of Wondering, chronicles the months after the documentary series The Yogurt Shop Murders debuted in August 2025, when the Austin Police Department suddenly convenes a press conference to announce a break in the 34-year-old case.
