Shetland Season 10 – 19 February

Series. For over a decade, Married at First Sight has dominated public conversation, becoming an addictive Australian television phenomenon and the show on everyone’s lips. Now, the MAFS universe is expanding like never before with the launch of the Stan Original MAFS: After The Dinner Party.
The companion series will be the first and only place to dive into exclusive, unfiltered interviews and unseen footage with the participants right after Married at First Sight‘s iconic dinner parties. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning – 19 February

Film (2025). Set two months after the events of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, the latest instalment of the iconic action spy series finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the Impossible Mission Force continuing their search for the Entity, a terroristic AI that has infiltrated intelligence networks across the globe. Checkpoint Zoo – 22 February
Documentary (2024). The latest critically-acclaimed doco from Joshua Zeman (Cropsey, The Killing Season, Murder Mountain) follows a group of Ukrainian zookeepers and volunteers who risked their lives to rescue thousands of animals trapped in Feldman Ecopark, which was shelled with Russian artillery during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Field of Blood – 16 February (Acorn TV & AMC+)
Series. Based on the hit book by Denise Mina and set in the gritty Glasgow of the early 1980s, this slick drama follows Paddy (BAFTA Award-winner Jayd Johnson), a low-level newspaper employee whose world is turned upside down when a murder story involves her family.
The ensemble cast includes David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who). Season 2 is based on the second novel in the Paddy Meehan series, The Dead Hour, where Paddy tries to make a career for herself against the backdrop of the miners’ strike and the changing face of journalism.
True Crime Story: It Couldn’t Happen Here – 19 February (AMC+)

Series. The new six-episode season examines the challenges and complexities of small-town justice, spotlighting cases that range from unsolved missing persons and wrongful convictions, to death while in police custody. Led by advocate and actress Hilarie Burton-Morgan (One Tree Hill, The Walking Dead), the series travels to Pennsylvania, Texas, Indiana, Oklahoma and Kentucky, in powerful pursuit of accountability and justice for victims.
By speaking directly with the family members of those involved with the cases, as well as community members, local journalists and legal experts, the series continues its work revealing systemic flaws within the criminal justice system and encourages viewers to lend their voices to those who have been silenced.

Girl on the Run: The Hunt For America’s Most Wanted Woman – 19 February
Series. This new Hulu docuseries details the real-life 2008 prison escape of Sarah Pender, a convicted murderer who became a national fugitive – highlighting her manipulation and escape with help from a prison officer, and the subsequent manhunt as she relied on a new boyfriend and ex-cons to evade US Marshals. The series captures the intense, cross-state pursuit, making Pender a subject of fascination and fear.
In Your Radiant Season – 20 February

Series. This brand new romantic drama series from South Korea tells the story of Seonu Chan, a cheerful animator who loses his hearing and memory after a mysterious accident, and his journey with Song Ha-ran, a talented designer who becomes his savior, as they navigate their complicated pasts and relationships.

Australian Story: Out in the Open – Sophie Hyde – 16 February

Australian Story is back on our screens with a new season in 2026, with host Leigh Sales exploring the power of the personal and sharing compelling stories about real people that illuminate, entertain and inspire. New episodes drop every Monday night.
This week shares the story of Sophie Hyde. One of Australia’s most successful directors, she has worked with some of the world’s best, including Emma Thompson in 2022’s Good Luck to You, Leo Grande. Her new feature film, Jimpa, is nerve-racking in a whole other way – deeply autobiographical, it shines a light on long-held family secrets – with acclaimed actress Olivia Coleman playing a version of Sophie, and US actor John Lithgow playing her father Jim.

Philby was the most notorious British defector and Soviet double agent in history. This is a story of intimate duplicity; of loyalty, trust and treachery. Philby’s deeply personal betrayal, uncovered at the height of the Cold War, resulted in the gutting of British and American Intelligence.

Film (2025). This dark comedy based on an unbelievable true story follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname Roofman.
After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys ‘R’ Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move.
