Steeltown Murders – 22 December (AMC+ & Acorn TV)
Series. It’s 2002 in Port Talbot in Wales, and on hearing that the Criminal Investigation Department are looking to reopen two sexually motivated murder cases from 1973, DCI Paul Bethell (Philip Glenister, Calendar Girls) jumps at the opportunity to lead the investigation.
Following two vividly different timelines, we also revisit the tragic events of ’73 to see both a small Welsh community devastated by grief, and Paul as a junior officer who is adamant not to make the same mistakes that he and the force had made once before.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale Season 1 – 26 December (AMC+)

Series. Set in a contemporary world where witchcraft is real, the story takes place in the idyllic English town of Sanctuary, where for hundreds of years witches have lived peacefully, as valued members of society. Until now.
At the heart of the tale is Sarah Fenn (Elaine Cassidy), Sanctuary’s resident witch, on whom the town relies to solve their problems when conventional remedies have failed. When local teen rugby star Dan Whithall dies tragically in an apparent accident, his death exposes a terrifying undercurrent of suspicion and fear towards Sarah and her teenage daughter Harper (Hazel Doupe).
Mother of the dead boy Abigail (Amy de Bhrun), once Sarah’s closest friend, is wracked with grief, and to avenge her son’s death, launches a modern-day witch-hunt to get justice, no matter the cost.

Two-part Christmas special. Jean (Sally Lindsay), Dom (Steve Edge), Judith (Sue Holderness) and Jeremy (Robin Askwith) attend an exclusive Christmas Eve event at the Musée de Sainte Victoire.
Jean is invited to authenticate a newly acquired treasure – a rare Ormolu box once owned by Marie Antoinette. But the festive mood turns dark when Jean discovers a ticking bomb hidden inside. With just 90 minutes until detonation, the museum is sealed shut, the security guard is dead, and the race is on.

From The Boulet Brothers and David Dastmalchian comes The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors, a chilling holiday-themed horror special produced by Boulet Brothers’ Productions and Good Fiend Productions.
The film features four original shorts, each written and directed by a different genre powerhouse: The Boulet Brothers, Dastmalchian, Akeela Cooper and Kate Siegel.
G.R.I.T.S. Season Finale – 18 December (AMC+)

Series. G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised in the South) follows Keisha (Jasmine Sargent), Ty (Ashanti Harris) and Francis (Aja ‘Slimeroni’ Canyon), three young women coming of age in Memphis.
Determined to define the next chapter in their lives, they find solace in their favourite pastime: roller skating. As they navigate grief, love, hustle and the underbelly of the city threatening to pull them down, a skating competition with life-changing prize money offers a glimmer of hope.
Influencers – 12 December (AMC+ & Shudder)
Film (2025). In the sun-drenched countryside of southern France, CW (Cassandra Naud) lives a quiet idyllic life with her girlfriend Diane (Lisa Delamar), hiding a dark obsession with murder and stolen identities. During an anniversary getaway, they cross paths with Charlotte (Georgina Campbell), a bold, alluring influencer whose curiosity quickly turns intrusive.
Reflection in a Dead Diamond – 5 December (AMC+ & Shudder)
Film (2025). When the mysterious woman in the room next door disappears, a debonair 70-year-old ex-spy living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur is confronted by the demons and darlings of a lurid past in which moviemaking, memories and madness collide.
Rectify Seasons 1-4 – 1 December (AMC+)

Series. When Daniel Holden (Aden Young) is released after nearly 20 years of complete isolation on Death Row, he returns as an outsider to his family, to his community, and to the times. Somehow, he survived the mental and emotional strain of his imprisonment, but now the walls have suddenly come crumbling down and Daniel is set free in a world he no longer understands.
Daniel’s unexpected presence not only throws his family into disarray, it ripples out to all the people connected to his case – the prosecutor who rode the notoriety to become a state senator, the sheriff who pushed the boundaries of the investigation, and the entire town of Paulie, GA, that blamed him for killing one of their own.
The Light in the Hall Season 2 – 1 December (AMC+ & Acorn TV)
Series. A controversial plan to expand a nearby reservoir reignites old tensions – a story that piques the interest of young journalist Caryl (Siân Reese-Williams). As familial secrets and mysteries resurface, doubts are raised about the imprisonment of Rhys Owen (Mark Lewis-Jones) for the murder of his cousin during the 1995 protests against the reservoir’s expansion.
Inside Season 2 – 1 December (AMC+ & Acorn TV)
Series. The new season of Welsh prison drama continues to explore the lives of those on both sides of the prison walls and how the new dynamics affect their relationships and survival. Inmate Barry is trying to maintain control as new staff and inmates disrupt his unit, while a new, dangerous inmate named Kit Brennan arrives and forms a tentative alliance with Barry.
