Korean director Joon-ho Bong packs the winter woolies and heads for the snow, announced as a jury member at Sundance. Bong is best-known in his homeland for The Host and Mother.

Horror comedy The Host, released in 2006, broke box office records in Korea, taking over 62.5 billion won (NZ$7.35 million) and over US$90 million worldwide. The film won in four of the five categories for which it was nominated at the Asian Film Awards in 2007 (Best Film, Best Actor, Best Cinematographer, Best Visual Effects) and overall picked up 18 wins from 31 nominations at various festival and award ceremonies.
