The indie film flagship festival has closed for another year in traditional manner, handing out awards. Here’s a list of a bunch of films you’ve never seen but one day might have the chance to, since reported sales are looking a little better than last year.

There are no obvious NZ connections, but the World Cinema Special Jury Prize went to Leonard Retel Helmrich, an Indonesian/Dutch filmmaker who gave a masterclass at the DOCNZ forum a few years back.
