Last year we published this quirky and provocative conversation with Soda_Jerk. Their 55-minute video artwork Terror Nullius was playing at ACMI and we called it ‘the angriest and most political Australian film to emerge in these conservative times.’ That film spoke directly to the history and mythology of Australian cinema itself, with its racism, misogyny and homophobia, constructing a new story that was brassy, brash, cross and a whole lot of fast-paced fun.
