First up, the Australia Council has announced that applications are open for its SITUATE Art in Festivals program, aimed at extending opportunities to emerging artists in a festival setting.
SITUATE Art in Festivals will see $250,000 allocated to the Salamanca Arts Centre in Tasmania to implement the initiative, after the organisation was awarded the project in December last year through a competitive application process.
