NZ On Air has signed cheques totalling a shade under $600,000 to bring four major events to television.

The Montana World of Wearable Arts (WOW) will air on Prime TV. Media Inc was awarded $144,100 to bring the Wellington-based show to air. The 1 hour programme will include build-up and backstage footage as well as the shows and awards themselves.

The three remaining awards all went to programmes for TVNZ.
