The Insatiable Moon adds a couple of screens and climbs a spot. The end of the school holidays sees a considerable, if predictable, drop in earnings for kids’ fare. The Legend of the Guardians seems to suffer more than most and, on its current box office here and elsewhere, seems unlikely to deliver the franchise opportunity its makers hoped for.
