Key figures in Māori radio and television will meet in Rotorua next month to consider future directions for their industry. Māori Broadcasting Funding Agency, Te Māngai Pāho, today announced plans for a joint industry summit to discuss the way forward for Māori broadcasting.

The Hon. Peter Sharples, Minister of Māori Affairs, and Associate Minister of Māori Affairs, Hon. Georgina te Heuheu. will both address the summit, which is designed to assist the development of industry input into the current government review of the Māori language sector.
