The Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum, more tidily known as HAF, wrapped on Wednesday with the traditional passing out of gongs and cheques. Six projects were winners, from the 28 selected entrants.

The two major awards, one for a HK-originated project and one for a non-HK-originated were each worth HK$150,000 (cNZ$29,000). Philip Yung’s Port of Call won the HK award, for a crime thriller based on a true story of a mainland Chinese call girl working in Hong Kong.
