Not content with scoring a saint this week, the Aussies also managed a clean sweep of awards in France this week as the Festival des Antipodes came to a close in St Tropez. Having managed a shut-out on the jury, with no Kiwis casting votes, Australia 5 NZ 0 was the final score.
Rachel Ward’s Beautiful Kate took the top honour for Best Film, beating out Balibo, Boy, Bran Nue Day, Home by Christmas and The Waiting City.
