Hong Kong’s CineAsia conference, which focuses on exhibition and distribution, closed last night with the customary prize ceremony at which most everyone knows what they’ve won before the starters are served.

The conference sessions provided attendees with an early look at James Cameron’s 3D conversion of Titanic. 18 minutes were screened during a presentation by producer Jon Landau. The film releases 6 April next year, just ahead of the 15 April centenary of the unsinkable ship’s demise on its maiden voyage.
