Art World mourns Warhol’s Superstar – Ultra Violet

Remembered as a purple-loving starlet from The Factory scene of the 1960s, Ultra Violet showed her art up to her death.

If you were to introduce her as Isabelle Collin Dufresner the likely answer would be, who? But the name Ultra Violet is synonymous with Andy Warhol’s Factory; the artist and actress known by this pseudonym was a Warhol superstar, one of the the created celebrities who appeared in Warhol’s artworks and accompanied him in his social life.
