The creators of the short film, Waterborne, have managed to crowd-fund the money to construct their pouched mammal, and now face the herculean task of making the lovable marsupial credibly evil.

“We would love to do for Kangaroos what Spielberg did for Sharks” says Ryan Coonan, director of Waterborne, a short film from Melbourne indie production company Octopod. The company hope the film will change some of the perceptions about our national animal.
