Everyone is doing the alliance dance, but veteran Tim White’s deal to create an Adelaide company will propel some primed and eager partners into the Cannes market. It has much more to do with sheep and cattle than most producers imagine.

Tim White is a New Zealander who has built an extraordinary career on both sides of the Tasman, which involved alliances with Mel Gibson, with whom he set up Fox-Icon, and then the UK company Working Title Productions, and less formally with David Parker and Nadia Tass in Melbourne.
