Peter Moon sat down with Oscar winner Tom Schulman and Australian directors David Parker and Stephan Elliott to talk about the ingredients for a smash hit comedy. None of them are short of an opinion, but they weren’t going to be caught peddling recipes either.

Although billed as a discussion on the key ingredients needed to make a smash hit comedy, the film makers on the panel discussed the specific elements from their own films that seemed to capture the audiences’ attention.
