BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the public broadcaster, has ended its long-term co-production deal with Discovery and announced a major new investment in BBC factual content. It is looking for more co-production partners.

The new spending will cover “the breadth of the BBC’s output across natural history, science and history, becoming the the principal co-production partner with the BBC Natural History Unit.”
