In its time of public distress, the AFI/AACTA has appointed four new board members after recent elections. They come from the tough end of town.

Geoff Brown, Russel Howcroft, Alaric McAusland and Ian Sutherland have now been appointed to the AFI/AACTA board.

Two open slots were created by the resignation of Amanda Higgs, and the former Chair, Morry Schwartz. The board was short two members at the time, so this election brings the total number to nine.
