Young Filmmakers Festival Queensland is a very important community film event that encourages young people under 18years to engage their voice through the medium of film, irrespective of their gender, ethnic, cultural, socio-economic and religious backgrounds.

We are breaking down the barriers and encouraging participation by making it free to submit films and entry to the Awards Night which, will be hosted by Jacqui Duncan best known as Eco from the SHAK (channel 9 children’s program), on 19 October. This event is also free.
