Flying Cabbage Productions in conjunction with the ABC, AFC, Film Victoria and NSWFTO are producing a 4-hour mini-series called Bastard Boys. This series is a fictionalised dramatic recreation of one of the most significant events in Australia’s industrial history, the 1998 waterfront dispute. It is a political thriller, war story, buddy story, love story, courtroom drama, and redemption story told through the experiences and the personal journeys of five key characters.

Flying Cabbage Productions, with the assistance of Film Victoria, are looking for potential candidates to apply for the Film Victoria Attachments program on the Melbourne shoot of Bastard Boys. Positions are available in the following departments: camera, costume, assistant director, production and art Department. Log on to: www.film.vic.gov.au and go to the Programs and Initiatives menu to see the guidelines and download the application form.
