West End Film Festival (WEFF) is currently accepting Australian short films from all genres including drama, documentary, animation and music clips. The inaugural West End Film Festival welcomes first time filmmakers and encourages Aboriginal, queer, political, punk, experimental, and creative filmmakers to enter their works.

The West End Film Festival’s mission is to showcase the efforts of Australian filmmakers and bring alternative short films to one of Queensland’s most vibrant arts communities. During March 2010 the West End Film Festival will screen the best short films this country has to offer right in the heart of Brisbane’s beloved West End.
