Adelaide writer/producer/director Rolf de Heer’s latest film TEN CANOES has been selected for the prestigious Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes International Film Festival, taking place from 17 – 28 May.

This is the third of Rolf de Heer’s films to be selected to screen at Cannes; THE QUIET ROOM was selected for the 1996 festival and DANCE ME TO MY SONG was selected in 1998. Both films received a standing ovation after the red carpet screenings.
