The ACT Office of Film, TV and Digital Media has been rebranded as Screen ACT. Ever alert to bureaucratic change (this is Canberra after all) the SNOWYfest International Film Festival and its monthly Canberra off-shoot, Canberra Shorts, notices the change and passes the story on.

To be launched in Canberra on Tuesday 30 August, the new branding will replace the existing SCREENACTION. Screen ACT, through a partnership with the NSW Government, supports film production and development of the screen industries in the ACT and the capital region.
