Brisbane, Australia, July 01, 2009 | SHOOT Publicity Wire | – 6 of the 10 short films selected as finalists this week in the Queensland Short Film Competition, an event run through the Brisbane International Film Festival which is held in August, are short films made by QPIX, Queensland’s screen development centre.

Executive Director Mr Kerry O’Rourke says that ‘We’re very proud of the work we do at QPIX and it’s marvelous to see our filmmakers are getting such recognition for their work. 6 QPIX films in the finals of the Queensland Short Film Competition (QSFC) is a great achievement.’
