AFTRS Student Takes Out Fifth Australian Kodak Filmschool Competition

AFTRS cinematography student, Shing Fung Cheung, has taken top honors in the Australian National judging of the 2005 Kodak Filmschool Competition.

Australian Film, Television and Radio School cinematography student, Shing Fung Cheung has taken top honors in the Australian National judging of the 2005 Kodak Filmschool Competition for his work on Beth Armstrong’s film Danya.

The Kodak Filmschool Competition is designed to recognize students for outstanding achievement in cinematography and the important role the craft brings to a film. Cheung wins a Kodak Digital Camera and the winning film will now be included in the Greater Asia & Japan Regional round of judging with a one-in-twelve chance of winning a coveted trip to the Cannes Film Festival in 2006.
