Entries are now open for the 2008 AFI Awards in all categories:
Documentary, Short Fiction Film, Short Animation, Feature Film and
Television.

The AFI Awards are held each year to celebrate excellence in Australian
film and television. The most prestigious and recognised entertainment
awards in Australia, the AFI is delighted to be celebrating its 50th
Anniversary in 2008. To honour and mark this auspicious occasion in
AFI’s history there will be events through out the year kicking off with
a free screening in Federation Square, Melbourne of Peter Weir’s AFI
Award-winning film, Gallipoli on Anzac Day, 25th April.
